This is my first year teaching at Sterlington Elementary and my first year in the Ouachita Parish School System. I am currently teaching Social Studies and Science in 5^th grade!

I started teaching in August of 2016, at Columbia Elementary in Caldwell Parish. I taught 4^th grade ELA and Social Studies. This will be my third year teaching in Louisiana. While in college, I coached three years at West Monroe High School coaching softball, where I learned about leadership, communication skills, consistency, and motivation. 

I am recently engaged to my fiance, Jared, and we plan to get married on November 24^th!  We do not have any children, but we do have a golden retriever named Maddie. My Mom, Dad, and Sister are also a huge part of my life! Overall, I love spending time with my family and enjoy the memories we make together! 

I have many hobbies outisde of school! One of my favorite things to do is travel to new places I have never been before! I love hiking, kayaking, shopping, and spending time with friends and family! I also love salt water aquariums!
